Dr. Christian Bauschke
Christian studied law in Munich, Paris, Salzburg and Amsterdam. He wrote his doctoral thesis on an international stock market regulations topic. He was assistant to the chairman of Gruner + Jahr publishing house and worked as a journalist, holding posts, inter alia, as parliamentary correspondent of Die Welt and as senior editor of Welt am Sonntag. Christian has been a lawyer working exclusively in the field of art law since 2004. He co-founded Bauschke Braeuer in 2013. Christian is admitted to the German bar.

Jakob studied law in Berlin, Salamanca and at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). During his training, he worked for Sotheby's London and for the international business law firms Hengeler Müller and Jones Day of New York. Jakob has been working in art law since 2010. He co-founded Bauschke Braeuer in 2013. Jakob is admitted to the German bar. |

Before joining Bauschke Braeuer in 2016, Markus practiced in the fields of corporate law, real estate transactions and finance with the Berlin office of Berwin Leighton Paisner. Markus is a German and French native speaker. He is admitted to the German and to the New York bar. |

After her legal traineeship, she worked as legal counsel for the German Federal Film Board, as a consultant for start-ups and as CEO of a Blockchain company. Karoline joined Bauschke Braeuer in 2019. She is admitted to the German bar. |
